In development — no agents are listed yet

Find an insurance agent who actually handles what you need.

Agent Locator is building a directory of insurance agents organized by where they’re licensed, what they cover and how they work — so you, your search engine and your AI assistant can all get a straight answer.

How it will work

Built around the question people actually ask.

Most agent searches end in a list of names and a lot of phone calls to find out who writes flood policies, who’s licensed in your state or who works with more than one company. Agent Locator is being built to answer those questions up front.

  1. 01

Ask the way you’d ask a friend

Where you are, what you need covered, and anything that matters to you — an independent agent, a language, a specialty like farms or small businesses.

  2. 02

Match on facts you can compare

Listings are being designed around details you can compare: licensed states, lines of insurance, captive or independent, service area and languages.

  3. 03

    Verify, then reach out

Licenses are public record. Before you share anything personal, check the agent with your state’s regulator — we show you exactly where.

Built for how search works now

Answers for people. Structure for machines.

More and more people ask a search engine or an AI assistant to “find me an agent who…” and expect a direct answer. Those tools answer best from information that is consistent, specific and machine-readable.

So every Agent Locator page is plain, fast HTML with schema.org structured data — the shared vocabulary search engines use — describing the same facts you see on the page.

Not yet. We’re building the directory now and no agents are listed yet. Leave your email and ZIP code and we’ll let you know when agents are listed in your area.

Does Agent Locator sell insurance?

No. Agent Locator is a directory, not an insurance company or agency. It doesn’t sell policies or give insurance advice — licensed insurance agents do that.

What will I be able to search by?

The directory is being built around the details that matter when you choose an agent: where they’re licensed, the kinds of insurance they handle, whether they’re captive or independent, the area they serve and the languages they speak.

How can I check that an insurance agent is licensed?

Every state insurance regulator offers a way to look up an agent’s license. Our license lookup guide links to the official page for all 50 states and Washington, DC. Check an agent’s license.
